Op de Brouwketel houden we erg van muziek. Soms maken we het zelf, zoals laatst tijdens de eerste editie van ons Open Podium, en soms vragen we muzikanten om hun kunsten met ons te delen. Zo ook op zondagmiddag 14 januari, dan heeft Louise twee accordeonisten gevraag om te komen spelen. De belgische Anne Niepold en de Engelse Andy Cutting komen een concert voor ons geven.

Anne Niepold (be) has always had a reputation for breaking the conventions around this instrument. By never hesitating to take it out of her comfort zone, she has greatly contributed to it having today a privileged place on the list of “fully fledged” instruments.
Andy Cutting (UK) is a living legend. He has three times won the prestigious “folk musicians of the year” award (from bbc radio2) and his style is recognizable among all, unmatched. Between English heritageand modern tradition, his playing is characterized by strong melodies and a special use of the bellows. The quiet force…

Als ‘electrosingersongwriterpop’-artiest timmert Alan Lauris al sinds de jaren ’90 aan de weg met zijn pakkende, melodische, soms gevoelige, soms humoristische popliedjes. met vleugjes jazz, electronic en klassieke thema’s. Vandaag gaat hij terug naar zijn roots: de piano. Luister hier.
